Foundation Impact

Inspiring change through community and legacy

The Rosebery Foundation is rooted in a shared belief that excellence should never depend on circumstance.

An Alumna Legacy

Di Long 1

Dianne’s time at Rosebery, defined by friendship, belonging and support, stayed with her throughout her life. Her story reflects the lasting impact a Rosebery education can have, and her connection to the school has helped inspire a legacy that will benefit future generations.

Through the generosity and vision of the Long family, this legacy now lives on within the Rosebery Foundation - helping to widen access to opportunity, build confidence, and ensure every young woman can flourish with ambition, pride and purpose.

The European Space Centre visit (pictured below) is a defining moment for a small group of Year 10 students, building curiosity, confidence and ambition in science at a time when girls’ engagement with STEM often falters due to practical and financial barriers.

From 2026, the Di Long Bursary will enable three girls each year to take part who might otherwise be excluded, removing a barrier that should not stand in the way of curiosity, aspiration or talent.
