Pupil Premium and Free School Meals

We would like to remind families about Free School Meals (FSM) and encourage you to check if your daughter may be eligible. We understand that it is not always clear who can apply, and some families may not realise they are entitled to support. At Rosebery, we want to make sure that every family gets the help they are eligible for.

 

Why apply?

Applying for Free School Meals can make a real difference:

• Your daughter can receive free, healthy school meals each day

• You may be entitled to additional financial support
• The school receives extra funding to support students

Even if you are unsure, it is always worth applying.

 

Who should apply?

You should apply if your family receives Universal Credit. Government changes mean that more families are now eligible, so you may qualify even if you have not applied before. If you are not sure, we strongly encourage you to apply.

 

Free School Meals are not given automatically. Even if your daughter has received Free School Meals before, or you receive Universal Credit, you still need to complete an application form so eligibility can be checked.

 

How to apply

• Complete the FSM Application Form

• Provide your current details

• The school and Local Authority will check your eligibility

You will be told the outcome once this process is complete.
