Canteen

Rosebery's catering service is provided by Taylor Shaw, caterer of choice for thousands of secondary school students across the UK. Taylor Shaw offers a range of hot and cold food at morning break and lunchtime.
Taylor Shaw believe that lunch is an integral part of the school day. When students sit down with friends, they cement relationships, enhance social skills, and replenish both their body and mind.
At Rosebery School we have four catering outlets:
- Main Canteen Servery
- Grab & Go (in main canteen)
- Sixth Form Café
- Pod in the Quad
The menus are exciting, nutritious, and appealing, served in a supportive environment designed to educate students about how they can make healthy choices to support their wellbeing and improve their ability to focus.
Freshly prepared menus meet the Government’s School Food Standards and meet the bronze Food for Life standards.
Having read Taylor Shaw's information, if you have any queries relating to the catering provision for students at Rosebery School, please email our catering manager direct.
Taylor Shaw have a commitment to serving nutritious, healthy and tasty meals and regularly meet with the students to review the offer and quality of the food with them. We operate a cashless system and all students pay using their fingerprint which is taken when they join the school. When an item is bought from the canteen your daughter’s finger is scanned and matched to the digital record. Parents must therefore ensure that their canteen account on ParentPay is topped up regularly, if you wish your daughter to buy food. There are no arrangements for credit and the canteen cannot take cash. You can find more information about ParentPay here.

Allergen Management
At Taylor Shaw, all our colleagues are trained and up to date with allergen procedures and will provide accurate allergen information to your child. If your child has allergies, we ask that they speak to our server for information so that they can be provided with the information they need to make an informed and safe choice.
Should students wish to check allergen information, "Allergen Folders" are available at each catering outlet.
Anne Northfield is an Allergen Champion for Taylor Shaw and is available to meet with students, parents and carers, to answer any dietary questions that they may have and provide reassurance and information. This is especially encouraged for Year 7 and new joiners to Rosebery School.
An ingredient/allergen/carb count information booklet is available to any student or parent/carer via email. Please contact Anne directly on anne.northfield@elior.co.uk
Please note that it is important for students with dietary requirements and allergens to check on the day, in case there have been any ingredient changes from Taylor Shaw's wholesale providers.
