GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Head of School

David Lach 2It is a great privilege to introduce myself as Head of School here at Rosebery. This is a truly special place and it is humbling to work with such a talented, vibrant and ambitious community of staff and students.  My role as Head is to lead the strategic operation of the school on a day to day basis, working alongside Ms Allen to ensure that our long-term strategic objectives are secured over time.

Having worked at Rosebery for 10 years now, I am particularly proud of the school’s focus on developing the whole child, with our programme of pastoral support, personal development and citizenship, which is renowned in the local area and beyond.

Rosebery girls demonstrate and develop the character and resilience to thrive academically and beyond; they leave us as well rounded and capable individuals who are inspired to make positive contributions to society and to become compassionate future leaders.

Alongside this, our reputation for academic excellence and rigour is borne from our track record for securing exceptional GCSE and A Level outcomes; our GCSE results typically place us amongst the very highest achieving schools in the country, and ensure our students are able to progress onto their chosen pathway and destination, future study and employment, including some of the most prestigious universities and employers in the country.

As you will read in subsequent sections, I am supported by the Senior Leadership Team, who work tirelessly towards achieving our vision and strategic priorities, year on year, ensuring we remain the number one choice for girls in Epsom.

Ambitio et gaudium.
