GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Liz Johnson

Liz 1.png

Liz Johnson became Chair in 2022 when her daughter started Year 11. Having enjoyed helping with refreshments at a PSA event as a Year 7 parent, she gradually offered more time and found it was a rewarding way to get to know more about the school, meet other parents and make a difference to the students. Her day job is as a fundraiser for a national charity.

Emma - Secretary

Emma joined the PSA in 2023. Emma has been involved in fundraising via PTA groups all through her children's education as having additional funding can help make a difference to the learning environment for all students.

Lisa Higgins

Lisa Higgins is our Treasurer, taking over the role in 2022. Lisa was vice chair of her primary school PSA and loves the opportunity to raise funds for projects that make such a difference to the students. Her day job is as a private banking manager and she has a daughter in Year 10.

What have we funded?

The Rosebery PSA funds facilities and equipment not available within the school budget. Some of the resources the PSA has already provided are as follows:

  • Astroturf pitch refurbishment
  • 32 Chromebooks and 2 charging units
  • Up to date subject-specific books
  • Learning Resource Centre redecoration
  • Head of Year's motivational rewards programme for students.

PSA 50/50 Club

Join the Rosebery PSA 50/50 club today and you could be our next winner!

A great way for you to support us whilst also being in with the chance to win a monthly cash prize!

Here’s how it works:

· For just £24 for 12 months, you can join our 50/50 Club and enter the monthly prize draw.

· The prize money will be 50% of the membership fee taken that month. The remaining 50% goes to the school to help fund equipment, resources and opportunities for students.

· The draw will take place on the last Friday of each month. If school is closed on that day, the draw will take place on the subsequent Friday when school is open. No draws will be made in July and August – instead the December and June draws will have double winnings.

· If you win, you will be contacted by email and your prize cheque will be posted to you. The name of the winner will be published in Rosebery News and on the PSA Facebook page.

How to join

· Sign up via ParentPay and make your payment of £24 (plus a 50p processing fee).

· Payment deadline for 2023-2024 academic year is 22nd September 2023 midnight.

· Payments will also be accepted on a pro-rata basis at the start of Spring and Summer terms. Any queries, please contact roseberypsa@hotmail.co.uk.
