GCSE Results (August 2023)
High Flying Rosebery Girls!
The Year 11 Class of 2023 is celebrating wonderful individual and collective GCSE achievements today.
Over a fifth of all GCSE entries at Rosebery were graded at 9 or 8, the highest possible grades and equivalent to A* or A** in old money! And despite the context of a national fall in grading, Rosebery girls have once again excelled, with 42% of GCSE entries graded 9 to 7 and 80% of entries graded 9 to 5.
Continuing a theme of exceptional performance established by our A Level students, almost 90% of Rosebery students achieved a passing grade in both English and Maths, far above the national average.
Amongst the top performers included Jessica Sheehy, Freya Lenham, Naomi Grove, Grace McGuinness and Katie Costella..
Special mention also goes to Naomi Grove and Lauren Taylor both of whom achieved Grade 9s in all of their subjects – quite remarkable.
“It was a delight to see so many happy students and families celebrating at Rosebery this morning - we could not be prouder of the Class of 2023. We always knew they were a talented cohort and we are so pleased that, despite the disruption to learning that experienced throughout their secondary school experience, they have been able to achieve such brilliant results – well done girls!”
