We are able to offer students the opportunity to take part in a number of school trips throughout their time at Rosebery.
Each department will run visits that support the curriculum such as Medieval Day in Year 7, visits from the Globe Players in Year 9, to Tate Britain in Year 10 and to revision conferences in the Sixth Form. These curriculum trips do incur an additional cost and therefore we may ask for a voluntary contribution towards the running of a particular event or trip. If sufficient contributions are not received, it is possible that we may not be able to run the event.
We also run a number of extra-curricular trips which contribute to the wider development of our students. Rosebery students have visited New York, China, Paris, the Somme, Salamanca in Spain, and have skied in the Alps in recent times. We will give as much notice as possible for these trips and payment will be organised so that parents can pay in small instalments in advance of the trip, via ParentPay.
Students who are in receipt of Free School Meals can request, in confidence, financial assistance for curriculum trips from the Headteacher.
